The first meeting of the second council was successfully held

On the afternoon of January 2, 2025, the second first council meeting of the Logistics Equipment Committee of the Henan Federation of Logistics and Purchasing was held in Zhengzhou Weilai. With the theme of "Innovation leads to breakthrough, and joint efforts seek common development", this conference focuses on the development vitality of logistics equipment enterprises, strengthens internal alliances, promotes information sharing, and expands project cooperation, aiming to build a platform for communication and cooperation in the logistics equipment industry and enable the new ecological development of the Henan logistics equipment industry.

Li Peng, Vice President and Secretary General of Henan Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, Zhao Guojie, Chief of Logistics Section of Transportation and Hub Economic Development Section of Zhengzhou Aviation Port Area, Liu Zijun, Chairman of Zhengzhou Weilai Automation Equipment Co., Ltd., Liu Tao, President of Henan Branch of Beijing Hoisting and Transportation Machinery Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd., Zhang Yongchao, Vice President of Machinery Industry Sixth Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd., and more than 50 heads of logistics equipment companies in and outside the province attended the meeting. Lv Tengfei, Secretary General of Logistics Equipment Committee of Henan Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, presided over the meeting.

At the conference, Vice President Li Peng led everyone to study the "Action Plan for Effectively Reducing Logistics Costs in the Whole Society" issued by the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council. He emphasized the need to adhere to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, fully and accurately implement the new development concept, improve the degree of logistics organization and efficiency, and promote the integration and innovation of logistics and industry. In addition, the conference focused on the reform of logistics mechanism and system, the interconnection of logistics data, the construction of modern supply chain, the construction of logistics hubs, the digitalization of logistics, and the green development of logistics, and combined with the current situation of Henan logistics, conducted in-depth analysis and interpretation of the methods, logic and measures for reducing costs and increasing efficiency in logistics, so as to give play to the driving effect of logistics on the economy, enable industrial development, and jointly promote the high-quality development of the logistics industry.

Section Chief Zhao Guojie shared his views on the "Plan for the Construction of a Smart Logistics Equipment Industrial Park in Zhengzhou Aviation Port Area", and gave a detailed introduction to the plans and measures for the coordinated development of "port, industry and city" in Zhengzhou Aviation Port Area, the coordinated construction of multiple ports including "aviation, railways, highways and sea-going" in the transportation hub, and the business environment, in order to promote high-quality economic development in the province.

The exchange session was themed "Seeking business opportunities, expanding development - the direction for logistics equipment companies to go overseas". Liu Zijun, Chairman of Zhengzhou Weilai, and Bai Xinbo, General Manager of Zhonghao Machinery, expressed their unique insights on the characteristics and needs of overseas regions, ways of going overseas, policies and current situations.

Secretary-General Lu Tengfei conveyed the 2025 work plan of the Provincial Internet of Things Equipment Committee, which will deepen and implement the work through a series of special activities and meetings, empower member companies, enhance the cohesion and centripetal force of the logistics industry, and promote the high-quality development of modern logistics in Henan.

During the meeting, Li Hu, deputy general manager of Zhengzhou Weilai, gave a speech on the theme of "Facing up to internal competition, competitive and cooperative development - building a system solution provider in the logistics and warehousing field", and gave a detailed introduction to Zhengzhou Weilai's industrial structure and market strategy.

Finally, the conference held a grand awarding ceremony for 4 vice-chairman units and 8 executive director units. Zhengzhou Weilai was awarded the vice-chairman unit and will strive to contribute to the development of Henan's logistics industry in the future and create a bright future for the logistics industry.

After the meeting, Liu Zijun accompanied the association to the Weilai assembly workshop for an on-site visit and exchange, and learned in detail about Weilai's intelligent three-dimensional warehousing, AGV handling robots, and intelligent three-dimensional garage product applications and intelligent manufacturing capabilities, development plans, market layout, etc. Liu Zijun said that Weilai will aim at the forefront of technology and industry, continue to innovate, continuously improve the core competitiveness of the company, and promote the high-quality development of the logistics industry with better products and services.
